REZA F. SAFA was born and raised in a large family in the country of Iran.
Safa grew up in an artistic family. His father was a poet and a writer. “In my early teens my dad encouraged me to study Persian calligraphy which is a very prominent art form in the Persian culture,” Safa explains. “I studied for three years under a Persian master calligrapher who was a friend of my father. Soon I got involved with paintings, sculpting, and drawings. Every new house we moved into, my parents had to put up with my painting a mural on a wall somewhere in the house. Actually as a young teenager, I used to make quite a bit of money writing signs and calligraphy on store windows and trucks.”
Reza Safa is also a best-selling author. He has authored several books on Islam, including the best-seller Inside Islam. His most recently released book, The Coming Fall of Islam in Iran, is an extensively researched book that takes a close look at the past, present, and future of Iran. The Rise and Fall of Islam, is a prophetic message for America and how it must respond to terrorism.
Safa has acted as an advisor on Islam to various organizations and as a commentator on various radio and TV programs, such as, Tulsa’s Talk Radio KFAQ. He has participated in several panel discussions on Muslim issues, including on CNN’s “Paula Zahn Now.”
Reza Safa is founder and president of TBN Nejat TV, the first full-time Christian satellite network in the Farsi language broadcasting into Iran and the Middle East.
Reza Safa pastors Fishermen’s House Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he currently resides with his wife and two children. He also travels extensively throughout the world, speaking at various conferences and church services.
